A new issue of the Asia-Pacific News Brief focuses on the business interests and priorities related with the conjunction of the Silk Road Economic Belt and Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The Brief is published by the NCC APR with support of RSPP and CIIR of the RANEPA.
The issue opens with an interview with Veronika Nikishina, Member of the Board, Minister for Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission on the integration processes in the EAEU (in Russian, in English).
The interview by Alexey Likhachev, former First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation is devoted to the prospects and opportunities for increasing mutual trade and investment between Russian, China and the EAEU partners (in Russian, in English).
The second section of the issue presents the business vision of the Silk Road Economic Belt and Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) conjunction and contains the interviews by Alexander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) (in Russian, in English), Anatoly Kharlap, Chairman of the Republican Association of Industrial Enterprises “BelAPP” (in Russian, in English), Ablay Myrzakhmetov, Chairman of the Board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" (in Russian, in English), Zhirgalbek Sagynbaev, President of the Kyrgyz Union of Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs (in Russian, in English) and Jiang Zengwei, Chairman, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) (in Russian, in English).
In the last session Jean-Guy Carrier, Executive Chairman of the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC) (in Russian, in English), Alexei Chekunkov, Chief Executive Officer of the Far East Development Fund (in Russian, in English) and Konstantin Kuzovkov, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Summa Group (in Russian, in English) present the opportunities for business which the Silk Road Economic Belt puts forward.
