The Institute of China and Modern Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the National Coordination Centre for International Business Cooperation (NCC) signed a cooperation agreement

The parties agreed to provide mutual assistance in the development of trade and economic, social, cultural, scientific and other ties between the Russian Federation and the countries of East and Southeast Asia, to promote the expansion mutual, investments, cultural and humanitarian exchange between the countries. The parties also agreed to exchange information on scientific and technical achievements of Russia and the countries of East and Southeast Asia. As well as development of business cooperation between Russian companies, organisations, departments and relevant partners in the countries of East and Southeast Asia.

The NCC was established in 2014 by a decision of the Government of the Russian Federation and until October 2023 was called "National Coordination Centre for the Development of Economic Relations with Asia-Pacific Countries". In addition to ICSA RAS, the NCC was co-founded by the leading Russian business associations RSPP, CCI RF, Business Russia and OPORA Russia, as well as the Russian Export Centre, Russian Railways, Renova and AEON.
