Mongolia Gold 2018 starts on 15 March
The Mongolian Gold Producers’ Association and Mongolian Mining Exchange make final preparations for Mongolia Gold 2018 conference and exhibition. The event will be held in Ulaanbaatar at Corporate Convention Center on March 15-16, 2018. The aim of the conference is drawing attention of prospective foreign investors to Mongolian gold industry, rising awareness about the opportunities, bringing advanced technologies and investments into gold extraction.
The growth and development rates in the industry are impressive. According to the Gold-2 program employed by the National Government, gold production is supposed to grow by 2-3 tons annually and stabilize at 25 tons by 2020. As a part of the policy 10 mining companies were provided with soft loans. The total number of enterprises, which possess mining licenses, is 542. 1100 companies are entitled to run exploration activity.
Representatives of business community and public organizations will attend Mongolia Gold 2018 and establish a Memorandum of Cooperation, concerning Gold-2 program. The Mongolian Gold Producers Association is going to sign another memorandum of cooperation with China Gold Association and Canada’s Outotec, to stimulate further cooperation. Besides, Sakthi Trading Group and Kaloti Precious Metals will give presentations on their vision of the industry.
