The EEC and China are developing cooperation in the field of competition and antitrust policy
The EEC Board Member - Minister in charge of competition and antimonopoly regulation Nurlan Aldabergenov met with the Minister of state commercial and industrial administration of the People's Republic of China Zhan Mao in Beijing on December 6, 2016.
The Parties noted the importance and urgency of developing bilateral cooperation, familiarized with directions of the EEC activities and the State Commercial and Industrial Administration of the PRC, legislation, main objectives, the structure and powers of the parties in the sphere of competition and antitrust policy as well as practice of investigations and penalties.
During the meeting they discussed issues of law enforcement practice in the field of antimonopoly policy and prospects of international cooperation of the EEC and the state commercial and industrial administration of the PRC, including cooperation in the area of competition law and antitrust policy.
