German business is interested in the dialogue between the EU and the EAEU
At the Open Day in the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce, which was held in Moscow, the Director of the Integration Development Department of the EEC Sergey Shukhno drew the attention of the representatives of the German business to the advantages that the Eurasian integration can offer to foreign companies operating in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Sergey Shukhno answered questions of German entrepreneurs about actual trends of the EAEU development, including the launch of common markets of medicines and medical products and the draft new Customs Code of the Union.
In their turn, the representatives of the German business community shared their plans to prepare a collective memorandum on behalf of leading companies and business associations. The memorandum is expected to state the need for the formal dialogue in the format EU-EAEU. The document is expected to be submitted to the European Commission.
"The dialogue between the EU and the EAEU is logical, and we expect that the request of the European business for cooperation in the format of Union-Union will be heard in Brussels," said Sergey Shukhno.
