The EEC and the Government of Singapore are discussing prospects of cooperation

Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the EEC Tatyana Valovaya met with the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Singapore Koh Poh Koon in Moscow on October 25, 2016.
The parties exchanged views on the prospects and formats of cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Government of Singapore through the joint working group established in accordance with the memorandum of understanding dated May 18, 2016.


“During the first meeting of the Working group there will be a good opportunity to discuss broad economic agenda and establish working contacts between relevant EEC departments and authorities of the Republic of Singapore,” said Tatyana Valovaya, emphasizing the need for engagement of representatives of Sungapore business circles and the EAEU Member States to the dialog.
The parties agreed to consider holding the first meeting of the Working group in Singapore at the beginning of 2017.
