Business has gained the opportunity to directly address its problems in the EEC
Under the Eurasian Economic Union, an information resource “Functioning of internal markets of the Eurasian Economic Union" was launched. Its main task is to identify barriers and restrictions in mutual trade. The address of the resource: https://barriers.eaeunion.org.
The portal was presented by the Eurasian Economic Commission at the Eurasian Week Forum & Expo.
Having learned the capabilities of the information site, the EEC Board Chairman Tigran Sargsyan noted that using such resource, business owners and citizens of the Union can quickly provide information about existing problems in their domestic markets, as well as receive information on progress with similar requests. "In fact, the site will become a kind of book of complaints and suggestions. I hope that the representatives of the business community of the Eurasian Economic Union will begin to actively use the possibilities of interaction with the EEC," said Mr. Sargsyan.
The new site contains a large amount of background material, answers to the most frequently asked questions in the field of the elimination of obstacles in the domestic markets of the Union countries. It allows monitoring follow-up actions by the Commission on barriers, learning about upcoming events, working to remove obstacles
