The EEC established the Advisory Board for interaction of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Business Council of the Eurasian Economic Union

The EEC Board adopted establishment of the Advisory Board for interaction of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Business Council of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Advisory Board will be a platform where, continuously and together with business associations of the countries of the Union, strategic and systemic issues of development and functioning of integration associations will be discussed.
The new Board will become the legal successor of the Advisory Board for interaction of the Eurasian Economic Commission and Belarusian-Kazakh-Russian business dialogue, which was formed in 2013. During its operation, organizational and legal framework was created for participation of representatives of the business community at sessions of the Advisory Committees under the EEC, as well as for operative application of members of the Advisory Board to the Commission through back offices placed on the EEC web-site.


The new Advisory Board was formed due to replacement of Belarusian-Kazakh-Russian business dialogue to the EAEU Business Council. The EAEU Business Council was established in connection with the entry into force of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union and accession to the Union of the Republic of Armenia and the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Advisory Board for cooperation of the EEC and the EAEU Business Council will include representatives of business communities, industry associations, non-governmental organizations of the Union countries.
The EAEU Business Council is a permanent coordination and advisory body of business circles of the EAEU Member States. The Council includes the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Employers) of Armenia, the Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Employers) of Belarus, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan “Atameken”, the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
The Council carries out work on developing the coordinated position of the EAEU business community in its interaction with the bodies of the Union, establishing direct communication and dialogue between the Union countries’ business circles, promoting trade and economic relations, industrial and financial cooperation, as well as improving the competitiveness of national economies, identifying barriers, exemption and limitations of mutual access to the markets of the integration association.
