On October 31, 2016 the session of the Advisory Committee for Agroindustrial Complex of the Eurasian Economic Commission chaired by the Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Industry and Agroindustrial Complex of the EEC Sergey Sidorskiy addressed the draft Recommendation of the Commission Board "On agreed actions of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in the development of export potential of agricultural products and foodstuffs”.

The document was prepared in accordance with the Treaty on the EAEU and the Action Plan on implementation of the Concept of agreed (coordinated) agroindustrial policy of the Member States of the Union, on the basis of the analysis of national laws and regulations in respect of exports support of the Member States, institutional and financial measures in foreign countries. It aims to promote joint actions in entering markets of third countries with agri-food products.
The Commission on systematic basis prepares reviews on measures and mechanisms to support exports of agricultural products and foodstuffs used in the Member States of the Union and the leading exporting countries of agricultural products and foodstuffs. Based on the analysis of the conjuncture of world markets and forecasts for development in agricultural product world production and consumption, features of import regulation in prospective importing countries on major agricultural products are determined. It is recommended that the Member States consider this information when developing exports.
Implementation of the measures contained in the Recommendation will allow the Member States to use the best foreign practices in organization and functioning of exports support systems. This will contribute to the formation of an effective system of marketing agricultural products and foodstuffs to explore new markets, as well as to the development of an agreed export policy in expanding export potential of agricultural products and foodstuffs of the Member States.
