A Draft Regulation on Annual Monitoring and Analysis of Implementation of the Main Directions of Industrial Cooperation of the Union Member States is Approved

Participants of the September 30th session of the EEC Industrial Advisory Committee approved a draft Regulation on Annual Monitoring and Analysis of Implementation of the Main Directions of Industrial Cooperation of the Union Member States.
The document was drawn up by the EEC Industrial Policy Department pursuant to the provisions of the Treaty on the EAEU and the Main Directions of Industrial Cooperation.


The Regulation defines the procedure, structure and scope of annual monitoring and review of progress achieved in the implementation of the Main Directions of Cooperation, including the cooperation between the government authorities of the Union Member States and EEC.
According to the document, the following areas will be reviewed during the monitoring: achievement of the objective and fulfillment of the tasks promoting the development of industrial cooperation in EAEU; effectiveness of execution of the respective action plan; development of proposals facilitating a more effective implementation of the Main Directions of Cooperation.
Such issues as cooperation, mutual trade, mutual investments, achieved rates of industrial growth, the share of high-tech products in the production output, the Union's share in the global industry (as a whole), the Union's share in the global manufacturing industry and in global export of products of the manufacturing industry will be considered.
The approved draft Regulation shall be submitted to the EEC Board and Council for consideration following the established procedure.
