The Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov met with the Chairman of the Board of the EEC Tigran Sargsyan
On October 22, 2016 a meeting between the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov and the Chairman of the Board of the EEC Tigran Sargsyan was held in Bishkek.
The meeting focused on stimulating and deepening Eurasian integration in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic noted the importance of creating a common market between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union without barriers and restrictions. Sooronbay Jeenbekov underlined the significant stabilizing role of the integration association against the backdrop of the impact of external factors, including the instability of world financial markets.
The Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic also said it was necessary to intensify joint work on phyto-sanitary and veterinary control.
The Chairman of the Board of the EEC underlined that the Commission's work is aimed at detecting and preventing potential threats to the economies of member countries. Tigran Sargsyan noted that, despite existing difficulties, the EEC is working to conclude agreements with third countries on the establishment of free trade zones.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Oleg Pankratov.
