National Coordination Center for Developing Economic Cooperation with the Countries of Asia-Pacific Region (NCC APR) co-organized a special session on the topic “One Belt One Road: Prospects for Business”

The session was one of the key events of the first day of the Russian-Asian International Business Forum held on November 1, 2016. The event was aimed to increase the awareness of the Russian business about the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Eurasian Economic Union conjunction and activities of one of the entities established to support the implementation of this initiative - the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC) and its bodies.


The participants discussed the business opportunities of new Silk Road under 21st century as well as the conjunction of the Silk Road Economic Belt and Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
The session started with the speeches by Founding chairman of the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce Lu Jianzhong and Vladimir Padalko, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
The heads of the leading Russian companies operating in the Asia-Pacific region and business associations shared with the participants their organizations` experience of participating in the EAEU - One Belt One Road conjunction processes.
The discussion was summarized by Jean-Guy Carrier, Executive Chairman of the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce.
